Last Sunday, Great Saling welcomed over 70 professional and club riders for the Simon Hook Memorial Road Race. An endurance race of 124km consisting of 8 laps around the Village, Blake End and the Andrewsfield.
Great Saling has been ‘put on the cycle map’ since the 2014 Tour de France. Great Saling and nearby rural villages of Finchingfield, Bardfield and Rayne are increasingly popular for cyclists offering a relatively flat course with narrow country lanes in unspoilt countryside.
No need to do 124km, but if you wish to take a more leisurely pace, we will be uploading the circuit shortly.
